Welcome to the Stampers Anonymous Stampin Up blog tour! You may have just come from Robyn Irvings blog, but if you are starting here, don’t worry … you can make the complete circuit just by following the links at the end of each post. There are 14 stops along the way and we hope you will visit each one to see the gorgeous creations we have to show you!

We will be showcasing the beautiful new products in the Summer Mini, available to you from December 1st. At the end of each post there will be a link to take you to the next stop on the tour. Feel free to “share the love” and leave a comment! So sit back, relax and enjoy!

My first card uses the new ‘I {Heart} Hearts‘ stamp set and also the new button colours on offer, Playground. I love that this set co-ordinates with both heart punches Stampin Up already have available. Make for a really simple and quick card

The next card makes use of the new ‘Butterfly Prints‘ and the new co-ordinating Butterfly Punch. I love butterflies and glitter, so this card was fun to make.

To add a bit more texture, I used the flourish from the Season Of Joy set, and used my paper piercer to add holes where the dots were. Just a small detail that add just the right amount of interest.

Now this card uses the
Like-O-Meter single stamp. This is a great stamp becuase you can use it to connvey at least 9 different messages. I have decided to go with ‘I’d marry you again’ sentiment, but if there isn’t a greeting on there that doesnt suit (I find it hard to belive though lol) you could use your markers to colour the messages, omit one of them, and fill in your own personalised message. This is a card to make for someone who perhaps just doesnt quite get the hint 🙂

and FINALLY, my last project I want to share with you is the new Sweet Treat Cups, Something Sweet stamp set and the new BIG 1 3/4 inch Circle Punch. This is going to be a set that I’m going to have lots of fun with. Instead of using the co-ordinating stamp set, I’ve used the Pick a Petal set to create a flower. So many possibilities with these cups. You could run with this idea, but on a smaller scale, to use a name place tags, or baby shower decorations, favours, anything really.

Well, that’s all from me. Now you’re off to enjoy the wonderful creations of RUTH BISHOP http://ruthbishop.blogspot.com/ Thanks for stopping by!

PS. For my regulars, or anyone else who would like to stop by, I will be starting my 12 Cards of Christmas tomorrow. The next 12 days will be all about Christmas!

I have been busting to use a clear acrylic album for quite a while now, but just haven’t had any great ideas. I haven’t yet scrapbooked my wedding (from 7 years ago!), I’ve been waiting until I feel comfortable with my style, and I think I’m almost there. After I finish my little girls baby album, that will be my next big project. So for now, and since I’m blogging about love all this week, I’ve made a mini book of our wedding. Actually, I wouldn’t even go as far as calling it a mini book, more just a mini picture book that captures moments from our day. I really like it, there are a few things that I want to add, but I know that it wont be for a couple of days and I really want to share it with you guys!

Now, you have to excuse the pixilated photos, I never seem to get around to photographing my items during daylight, and my ‘mood’ lighting indoors at night is beyond ridiculous (don’t get me started!). So these are as good as I could get this evening. Once I take more pictures (maybe tomorrow), I will replace these ones. I will also get some close up of some of the finer details

I love that you can see parts of previous pages through all clear sections of the book, it’s like having a sneak peek. The acrylic book is only 10cm x 10cm, so it’s really quick to decorate. This size can be done in just a few hours or less. Give one a try!

This post was meant to be up yesterday, but that’s hard to do when you haven’t made a card for it lol.
Today’s Monochromatic colour is Real Red from Stampin Up’s Bold Brights colour scheme. Fits in well with Valentines Day coming up on Saturday.

I have embossed the small hearts on the square windows in white, the large love heart and the greeting.

With the Bush fires raging not too far from here, my mind has been elsewhere. Thinking of all those who have lost everything and more. Thinking about lives lost, families devastated, and how you could ever recover emotionally from something a tragic as this. My thoughts and prayers are with them.

Supplies:

Cardstock – Whisper White, Real Red
Stamps – A Happy Heart, Sprinkles
Punches – Scallop Edge, Word Window
Other – Real Red 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon, White Embossing Powder

Did you ever pass notes during class when you were in school? I did! Either my teachers didn’t want to read what I had to say, or they never picked up on it because luckily I never got caught. Today’s project is inspired by notes. Nothing says ‘I care’ more than a hand written note.

Keeping with the Valentine/Love theme for the next week, I wanted to create some ‘Love Notes’. The colours aren’t completely typical for the love season, but I like the combo anyway.
Each pocket contains a spiral edged note card ready for those handwritten words of love. Half have inked lines and half are blank. I’ve distressed them with black ink, just to take the ‘clean cut’ look off them.

To let your loved ones know you care, I am giving this set away. To be entered in the draw to win, leave a comment on this post letting us know if you make Valentine/Love themed projects and what they are (a link to your work would be great too). As an added bonus, tell all your friends, and for each friend that mentions your name in their comment, I will add an additional entry into the draw for you. Entries close at Midday Valentines Day 2009 (Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time). Here’s a time converter for all those international readers http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc (I’m in Melbourne, Australia)

As promised here is the layout I had finished and photographed today.
This is one of the photo’s of the day from my Project 365. It was our 7 year wedding anniversary in January and even through the picture isn’t perfect, I LOVE this page. And would you believe this is the first page I have done of my husband and I together!

From the start this page just came together so easily. I think that was due to the fact I found some great Flocked Stickers in my favourite colour. Not quite sure what flocking is? Well I’m not swearing at you lol. Flocking is the ‘velvet’ feeling stuff you will have noticed on quite a few manufactures products lately. I have some on hand and plan to use it at some stage, so you will get to see some more.
Watch for some more LOVE projects coming soon!
Supplies:
Bazzil White Cardstock, SEI ‘Jolie Chocolat‘ Ribbon, Kaisercraft Clear Stamp ‘ Memory Boxes’, Little Yellow Bicycle Cardstock Stickers ‘Favorite Pieces – Flocked’, Miscellaneous Flower

A Sneak Peek

Is it Wednesday night already?! I had big plans for this week in the crafty department. I havent even posted 1 single project since Monday! My 2 year old must sense I need ‘ME’ time, and demands my attention. BUT…it’s ok. I have a project on hand to show you. Where is it you ask? I didnt get a chance to photograph it today, and although I did try, even PhotoShop said try again tomorrow. Dont get me started on how bad my interior lighting is!
So to start the ‘LOVE’ themed projects leading up to Valentines day, I completed a 12×12 scrapbook page using some products from Little Yellow Bicycle, and this is the sneak peek
I PROMISE that after I get home from my real (boring) job, I will photograph the page until it starts talking and says stop LOL. So check back with me tomorrow!
