I’m BACK! Did you miss me?

Don’t you just love the colours on this card? They are from the Washington Apple Designer Paper. It reminds me of all the changing colours on the leaves outside.

This card will sure to wow your recipient once they open it. This is what they will see! They wont know where to look first! And the best thing, it fits into a standard sized envelope with no problem!

ENJOY

Just a quick one for today. I know its been a couple of weeks since I posted anything, my plan tomorrow is to CREATE. We were away for the long weekend last week and I seem to have lost a few days somewhere.

Now looking at this card, I’m not totally happy with it……the knot is off centre, I should have used another colour cardstock for the greeting and for some reason the dark blue flowers are really bright on the photo (not to mention the positioning isn’t working for me). Oh well…..there’s always next time, right lol. You can’t win ’em all!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a Monochromatic card. So here we are! This card was inspired by another Stampin Up Demonstrator, Teneale Williams who made THIS beautiful card. I was also inspired by the pleating from a card on page 78 of the Australian Catalogue and Idea book. You can find Australian catalogue HERE
I’ve used Old Olive and Very Vanilla as the colours for this card. I’m not a green person, so this was something out of my comfort zone. But I love how it turned out. The damask stamp from the Friends 24-7 set caught my eye the first time I flicked though the catalogue, I’m now obsessed with this set. It’s probably my equal favourite stamp set.
I have also used the Stampin Pastels to chalk the edges of the Old Olive card and the Very Vanilla cardstock. Looks much better in real life.
ENJOY!
