A really quick and effective technique is called the ‘Rock and Roll’, and don’t worry it doesn’t involve any dancing lol. This technique allows you to have 2 seperate colours blended together on your stamped image.
You will need some whisper white cardstock, a stamp and two coordinating colours, one darker than the other. I’m using Riding Hood Red and Tangerine Tango for this demonstration. The stamp is from the Circle Circus set.

The first thing you need to do is completely ink up your stamp in the lighter colour.
Next, you need to ‘Roll’ the edges of the stamp in the darker ink colour. Be careful not to cover the entire stamp, just do the edges.
Then just stamp the image onto your cardstock. It gives a great graduated colour. Make sure you always use the lighter colour ink first so that you don’t get the darker ink on the lighter coloured ink pad.
Here is a quick card I put together using this technique. Why not give this technique a go this weekend. let me know how you go!
